TMS® Balanced Scorecard and TMS® Balanced Dashboard The TMS® Balanced Scorecard and TMS® Balanced Dashboard are tools of choice for displaying, trending, analyzing and executing actions to improve and manage business performance using the balanced scorecard concepts. The TMS® BSC and/or TMS® BDB are steered by the organization’s mission statement, vision, strategic direction, and other initiatives. The framework for the TMS® Balanced Scorecard and TMS® Balanced Dashboard was built when metrics and specific strategic goals and objectives were defined for the areas of Strategy, Finance, Operations and Customer Satisfaction.
Strategies and Initiatives are then linked to key performance indicators (KPI) and information from corporate data sources is fed into the appropriate indicators for review by the organization’s leadership. These tools give leaders and managers the capability to determine the health of various parts of the business, and to identify favorable and unfavorable trends in the organization’s business performance, and enable them to make appropriate adjustments.
